Learn how to personalize and configure the Zora Tech Logistics Platform for your needs.

User Profile Settings

Personal Information

Update your user profile:

  1. Click your profile icon in the top right
  2. Select Profile Settings
  3. Update your information:
  4. Display name
  5. Email address
  6. Phone number
  7. Time zone preference
  8. Language

Notification Preferences

Configure how you receive notifications:

  1. Go to Profile Settings > Notifications
  2. Choose notification methods:
  3. Email notifications
  4. In-app notifications
  5. SMS alerts (if enabled)
  6. Select which events to be notified about:
  7. Order assignments
  8. Inventory alerts
  9. System updates
  10. Daily summaries

Dashboard Customization

Personalize your dashboard view:

  • Rearrange widgets by dragging and dropping
  • Show/hide metrics based on your role
  • Set default filters for quick access
  • Save custom dashboard layouts

Warehouse Configuration

Note: These settings require Administrator or Warehouse Manager permissions.

Warehouse Setup

Configure your warehouse through the admin interface:

  1. Navigate to Warehouse Setup > Warehouses
  2. Click Add Warehouse or edit existing
  3. Fill in warehouse details:
  4. Warehouse name
  5. Code (unique identifier)
  6. Physical address
  7. Operating hours
  8. Contact information
  9. Time zone

Location Management

Set up storage locations within your warehouse:

Define Zones: - Receiving areas - Storage zones - Staging areas - Shipping docks - Returns processing

Create Location Hierarchy: - Aisles - Racks/Shelves - Bins - Assign unique location codes - Set up location barcode labels

Location Properties: - Location type and capacity - Temperature requirements - Access restrictions - Picking priority

User Management

Administrator permissions required.

Managing Users

  1. Go to User & Customer Management > Users
  2. Click Add User to create new accounts
  3. Enter user details:
  4. Full name
  5. Email address
  6. Username
  7. Initial password
  8. Assign appropriate role

Role Assignment

Assign roles based on job functions:

  • System Administrator: Full system access and configuration
  • Warehouse Manager: Operations oversight and reporting
  • Warehouse Staff: Daily warehouse operations
  • Inventory Controller: Inventory management and cycle counting
  • Shipping Clerk: Order fulfillment and shipping operations

Permissions Management

Configure granular permissions for each role:

  1. Navigate to Roles & Permissions
  2. Select a role to modify
  3. Adjust permissions for:
  4. Inventory management
  5. Order processing
  6. User administration
  7. Warehouse configuration
  8. Reporting and analytics access
  9. Customer management

Barcode Configuration

Scanner Setup

Configure barcode scanning preferences:

Scan Settings: - Auto-submit after scan - Scan verification (require double-scan) - Audio feedback on successful scan - Vibration feedback

Supported Barcode Formats: - UPC/EAN for products - Code 128 for serial numbers - QR codes for locations - Data Matrix for small items - Custom formats for LPNs

Label Printing

Configure label printing:

  1. Go to Advanced Features > Templates
  2. Select label templates for:
  3. Product labels
  4. Location labels
  5. Shipping labels
  6. LPN container labels
  7. Customize layout and information displayed
  8. Set default printer preferences

Mobile App Configuration

Mobile Settings

Configure mobile app behavior:

Sync Settings: - Offline data sync interval - Data cache duration - Auto-sync on connection

Camera Settings: - Default camera (front/rear) - Scan area overlay display - Auto-enable flashlight in low light - Image capture quality

Performance: - Low bandwidth mode - Battery saving options - Background sync

Integration Settings

Administrator permissions required.

API Access

For system integrations:

  1. Navigate to System Settings > Integrations
  2. View available integration options
  3. Contact your administrator to set up integrations with:
  4. E-commerce platforms
  5. ERP systems
  6. Shipping carriers
  7. Accounting software

Carrier Integration

Configure shipping carriers:

  1. Go to Advanced Features > Carrier Management
  2. Add or manage carriers:
  3. Carrier name and account information
  4. Service types available
  5. Rate calculation preferences
  6. Label printing settings
  7. Test carrier connections
  8. Set default carriers for different scenarios

Report Configuration

Custom Reports

Create custom report templates:

  1. Navigate to Reports & Analytics
  2. Click Create Custom Report
  3. Select data fields to include
  4. Set up filters and grouping
  5. Save template for future use

Scheduled Reports

Set up automatic report generation:

  1. Open an existing report
  2. Click Schedule Report
