Operations

Take a truck in, keep the numbers right, get the orders back out the door, and bill the customer for it. This is the work that happens every shift.

Floor page or desk page?

Receiving and shipping each have two pages. The floor page is the work you do with a scanner in your hand. The desk page is the work you do on a screen, before and after. Pick by where you're standing.

Taking stock in

Guide What it covers
Receiving shipments On the floor, truck at the dock: scan the shipment in, capture serial and lot numbers, finish the receipt, and put the stock away
Managing receiving orders At a desk, before the truck arrives and after it leaves: create a receiving order and track it through to closed

Keeping the numbers right

Guide What it covers
Viewing inventory See on-hand stock by location, lot, serial, and container for your active warehouse
Inventory adjustments Correct a quantity outside a count — damage, loss, or any other exception — and record why
Cycle counting Count the stock in one location and correct it when the shelf and the screen disagree
LPN movements Move a pallet or container — a License Plate Number (LPN) — between locations, staging areas, and shipments

Getting orders out

Guide What it covers
Order processing Take a customer order from creation through allocation, picking, and packing to dispatch
Pick lists Track every picking job in the warehouse from one screen
Load planning Build a load by picking LPNs, watching weight and cube as you go, and generating the pick lists
Packing and shipping On the floor, at the staging area: pack what's been picked, print the label, and hand it to the carrier
Shipping and outbound At a desk, on the Shipments page: create the shipment, manifest it with a carrier, print the documents, dispatch, and track it to the door
Freight forwarding Quote, book, and track a freight shipment

Handling customer requests and billing

Guide What it covers
Delivery requests (staff) Review, book, and manage the delivery requests your customers send in
Delivery requests (customer portal) The same feature from the customer's side. Read this when you're walking a customer through a booking
Billing and invoicing Rate cards, storage charges, billing events, and the invoices they produce
